Gardner Village

I have finally discovered Gardner Village. I didn't even know about it until this year. They make a really big deal about Halloween and the whole village is covered in witches and pumpkins. There are lots of fun cute shops, great places to eat, and tons of cute activities for kids. It is such a charming place. People are dressed up as witches and alot of the kids come in their costumes. My mom and I went with Alicia and her mom and we liked it so much we took Sarah, Bethany and all the kids back the next week - so I've been twice already. I got really picture happy because there are so many photo opps. I think I am going to make it an annual thing, it will be so fun when Jacks can enjoy it more too.

First Halloween

Suprise suprise I got really excited about Jackson's first Halloween. There are so many cute costumes out there! Nick wanted him to be a giant whoopi cushion. Although that would be a great way to explain all the noises he makes.....I had to go with my favorite. I found a great sock monkey costume for him at target. I am crazy about it - I LOVE anything vintage! It was a little too simple so I had to buy some felt and pom poms to "spruce it up". I even found an actual sock monkey to be his little side kick. Trubs wants to play with it so bad but knows its not his toy so he just lays on the ground and stares at it - what a good dog! Jacks even has a darling sock monkey blanket that Grandma Maxine made for him. I know I got a little carried away as usual..but Halloween is my favorite! I'll post more photos later of the big day!

My Guys

This is one of my very favorite photos in the whole world. I love my boys.

Birthday

I am officially in my LATE twenties! How weird. It isn't as bad as I thought - I feel like being my age is all worth while since I have my little bub to show for it. It was so great to have my first birthday with Jayjoebean. Nick and I got to escape for a night out and went to The Melting Pot - which is one of my favs and shopping at Gateway. I always feel so spoiled by him! On Sunday we had a great little birthday party at mama Carol and papa Bob's house. I am so lucky to have such a kick butt fam - Love you guys!

Christian and Kyle were SO excited to help blow out the candles!

The famous Hart Family chocolate pudding cake! Yummers - thanks Mom

Grandma and Jacks

So this actually happened a few weeks ago - and I have been too preoccupied to finally write about it. We had a small group over for Jjoe's baby blessing (small as in only brothers, sister and parents). Of course Nick did an amazing job he is so great at things like that. I was so proud of him, he is such a cute daddy. It went really well - Jackson cried for 90% of the event - but at least not during the blessing. I was obsessed with getting him a bow tie and suspenders for his outfit. I don't know why I love that so much. He looked like a little gentlemen..all he needs is a top hat and a monocle. Okay no, I don't want him to look too much like Mr Peanut.... Or do I?
