Little Sisters

Nick snapped some Senior portrait photos for his sister Breanne over the summer. We were lucky enough to have Shawnee there too so that we could get a few of the two girls together. Well I have known these girls since they were little and cannot believe how grown up they are! In fact, I really consider them the little sisters that I never had. Tear. They have always been beautiful so it is no surpirse how gorgeous these shots turned out. Seriously Nick, please pass these genes along to any future girls I may have!

Major Update Alert!

I am so behind on blogging! I think this spring was so crazy and overwhelming , that I needed a bit of a break from everything! It was full of high highs and a some low lows. We have so many great adventures and photos that I feel terrible not documenting them for myself! And I haven't even got to the rest of spring, let alone summer yet! Look out I am planning on a major blog updates shortly...

Trip to Crystal Cove

So at the end of April Nick and I got to go on a company trip with NAI to a resort in California. Nick actaully won the NAI Employee of the year award (yes he is super awesome) which meant that we got to go on a nice little get a way with some of our favorite NAI people! We stayed in an amazing resort called Pelican Hill on Newport Beach (we even spotted a celebrity or two). We hung out with friends, went to the pool, the beach, room service!, out to dinner and the NAI volleyball tournament. It was a fantastic get a way for the two of us.
How am I still so crazy about this guy? I swear we have just as much fun as we did at 17 .
Having fun on the Beach with the girls!
Crystal Cove Beach was beautiful we hung out by the tide pools and ate at the Beach restaraunt. We want to go back to see all the old 50-60s style colorful Surf Houses that are being renovated there.

I am joking about Nick taking all the photos and sitting by myself. I'm such a dork.

Pelican Hill was gorgeous. Fancy. Our rooms were super cool. There were bunnies outside too.

My Show! Well it was a success! This was a big thing for me and with the craziness of the months before, it felt a little overwhelming. I am still in a little disbelief that it all actually happened! There was a great turn out and an interview that I did right before with a local writer for Salt Lake Magazine gave it some great publicity and brought some new people in.

I love talking to people and being in social situations, but it is really hard on me to be the center of attention or the topic of conversation. I can't tell you how much I would love to just hide and listen to everyone talk about my work instead of having to stand in front of it. But I got to see so many familiar faces that made me so happy! Many friends came by that I hardly get to see. I talked to a million people and even sold almost all of the work!! Which was pretty incredible! I also got some great opportunities as a result. So overall the show went really well, and I am so thankful for all of the support shown by my family (my cupcake makers) and everyone that came out to the show. Loves and hugs and snugs from me :)

Alternative Medicine

A couple weeks ago my mom took me to a medical conference. We listened to I think 16 hours of information, so I feel like should be getting a school credit or something after that! The doctor we went to listen to is doing some amazing cutting-edge work with chronic pain and chronic disease. He is Dr Jerry Tennant from the Tennant Institute in Texas and is really doing amazing work that is different from typical doctors. Because of this, he is in the "alternative medicine" catergorgy. But don't let those words scare you, what he does is very scientifically based and he is a very brilliant well renowned doctor! Hence people traveling all over the world to here him speak and be treated by him. I am not going to even begin to explain everything that I learned about the work he is doing, but if there is anyone that is having a hard time finding solutions to chronic medical problems, this may be a great answer! Please give this a look if you feel like it could help you or somone you love. I almost feel like I have a responsibilty to pass it along.
