This spontaneous trip to Australia really was more of an adventure than a vacation! It was so AMAZING. Australia was beautiful and one of my new favorite places in the world. It has been over a month since we went, so I wanted to get some photos up before we go out of town again. Text to come!
GORGEOUS beaches
Jonny took us on an amazing hike through a cave where we walked out onto a huge cliff overlooking the ocean
Monster spiders
Jane of the Jungle
The Sorting Hat ha ha. To quote Erica "not Slytherin..not Slytherin..."
Mama and Roo, we even got to pet her
Erica with her little sister pony (with her same hair!). She walked up to it and told her she liked her bangs.
I caught a SHARK!! Holy smokes! Then we had Shark on the barbie at the beach house.
Well we finally took a family trip with the Woods! It was years overdue. We stayed at a great resort in Phoenix called The Arizona Grand. I have never stayed in a resort like this before, it was a gorgeous place. There were Spanish fountains and gardens everywhere. The resort has its own water park, so we did a lot of swimming. Jack Jack loved the kitty pool and being able to just hang out and splash in the water. The guys did some golfing, we went shopping, out to eat, and did some relaxing. One of my favorite things was just walking around the golf course lake, looking at the ducks and eating gelato with my guys. (There was some serious gourmet coconut gelato there!)
We went with Grandpa Gordon & Grandma Sherrie, Brandon & Brandi’s family, and Shay & Britney. And I cannot believe I don’t have a single photo of Shay and Britney! I am so sad. They are such a good lookin’ couple too. It was so great to be able to spend time with the whole fam. The only problem was our crazy little monster child! It was his first plane ride and being out of his routine was hard, he is really a pretty easy kid so it was surprising how hard it was for him to be out of his element! Nick thought to put Toy Story on my Ipod, and Jackson was totally sucked in every time, it was a serious life saver! And besides my getting horribly sick with strep throat on the last night (AWFUL!) we overall had a great time and loved being with the fam!
This photo says it all

Cheesers! You can see where he gets his awesomeness ha ha
This is Jack Jack's classic "on your mark, get set go!" pose. It is our trick to get him to go in the right direction, works ALMOST every time.
Nick and I were married in 2002 in the Salt Lake Temple. We met life guarding when we were both 16 and have been peas and carrots ever since. So we have really grown up together and had a BLAST along the way - traveling, going to school and having fun. AND after all these years are still crazy about each other. I graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts “starving artist” degree, and am stay at home mom, freelance painter & designer. I have been showing my work at The Blonde Grizzly in Salt Lake City and The R & R Gallery in Los Angeles. Nick has a degree in Business Finance and will continue to work at NAI commercial real estate. Although he has a very active left-brain, he is even more capable of using the right side too! He is technical, creative and a great photographer. We have a wonderful crazy little boy. JackJack is our life. He keeps our home full of laughs, energy and excitement. I am so blessed to be surrounded with my wonderful boys (our dog Trouble included).
